Local Culinary Students Serve Up International Fare & Generosity

foodtCulinary Arts students at NSCC’s Lunenburg Campus hope to tantalize taste buds and raise funds in support of South Shore Regional Hospital this spring.

The NSCC’s International Culinary Celebration, in support of the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore, will serve up sample size portions of cuisine from various regions of the world, including France, Morocco, Mexico and (of course!) the Maritimes.

Alison Clements, Development Officer with the Health Services Foundation, says proceeds from the fundraiser will support Radiothon 2017’s goal.

“We are excited to be able to grow the funds raised through Radiothon 2017 even more with the support of the Culinary Arts program at NSCC Lunenburg. We are encouraging everyone to come out, sample some amazing dishes they may never have tasted before and enjoy an evening out, all while supporting new equipment for the Operating Room at South Shore Regional Hospital.”

Along with the delightful cuisine there will be a 50/50 and silent auction.

Support local health care and up-and-coming culinary talent March 30th, 6pm – 9pm in The Den at the NSCC Lunenburg Campus. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door and are available March 1st online, through the Health Services Foundation’s office, as well as at the Student Services and The Den at NSCC Lunenburg Campus.
